For You to Know

If I saw you I think I'd freeze.
Checking the shape of your shoulders for change and when it all fits, when it's definitely you, the key turns in the lock.
A little gasp
Just to see your face. My heart would crack like glass.
I love the shapes so much.
You're beautiful.
Your big brown friendly golden retreiver eyes with your rosy apple cheeks like your dad
Your vampire teeth which you hate...which gave me butterflies the first time I met you.
I want to still all those millions of thoughts firing around your brain every moment with a little kiss.
Your face in my hands.
And rub my tears in your fluffy chest.
I thought you were mine.
I don't think I'll ever feel like that again.
You were perfect to me.
I don't want anything from saying this.
I'm so happy now and so free, now it's just me.
Just to say, that's my love for you there. It was real, despite everything.
You hurt me too much with your walls and suspicion, your silent punishment cutting me off,
but I really loved you.
I’ll leave that for you to know
