I haven’t thought about you for years

And now your face oozing joy into my pores

A shard of family through the crowd curtain at St Pancreas

My limbs leapt, that childish squeal

We belong together

You’re my history, you’re the ground

The deep knowing of your soul’s scent

You feel so easy

How are we so far

The depth of oneness we’re a unit

And truly nobody else existed in that station

We’re teenagers, obnoxious booming

Why are you here in my place where are you going how long do I get to be held by those arms who do you love do your parents still care about me you have a piercing how is your alopecia? I heard uncle Mick died, he chose to.

I’m so sorry I didn’t know how to pick up the phone and say it hurt me to know you’re hurting

Such separate paths, the poles of our worlds

But it’s all there.

Deep love that whips in a rhythm

From one to the other of us around the globe

Waiting for our hearts to beat in the same space and remember.

I’ll see you soon enough, we’re bound

our love cycle.
